Animation Geeks: Talking Shop with the U-M Stamps School

On Tuesday, April 8, we hosted an experimental animation class from the U-M Stamps School of Art & Design. Charlie (our animator), Holly (our copywriter), and Dave (the boss man) spoke to a group of 18 students about the process of creating animations for commercial clients. Led by Heidi Kumao, the class is currently dabbling in a range of techniques to learn basic animation skills.

We showed animations we’ve created for Grasshopper, TATA, and Scio Township, then engaged in a bit of Q&A.

Heidi sent us a nice email: “Thank you so much for giving us your time today! The students learned a lot and I’m sure it will impact them for many months and years.”

We hope so too, Heidi. It was great hosting your class!
