Ann Arbor branding agency garners third award for promotional animation
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — After winning Best of Show in the 2013 District 6 ADDY Awards, as well as a Silver Creative Award in the 2013 Summit Internationals, Hile Creative is pleased to announce a third honor for its “Open Doors” animated promotional video: a Silver recognition in the 2013 International Davey Awards.
The Davey Awards honors “small firms with big ideas” by recognizing the finest creative work from the best small firms, agencies, and companies worldwide. Judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts, the Davey Awards received nearly 4,000 submissions in 2013, which were reviewed by acclaimed media, advertising, and marketing professionals from firms including Disney, GE, Yahoo!, Condé Nast, Microsoft, and others.
“We’re thrilled that our ‘Open Doors’ animation has received such positive attention,” said Dave Hile, President of Hile Creative. “We put a lot into it, and the recognition is an honor to our talented creatives.”
“Open Doors,” created as a promotional video for Scio Township’s Economic Development Action Committee, highlights Scio’s business district and its rich offerings. The video is used as a tool for realtors and volunteer advocates who speak to business owners about the township’s amenities and culture.
