Rebecca McConnell for Clash Games

Shawn Finley for IKEA

Shawn Finley recently worked with illustrator Denise Shimabukuro to create IKEA’s “Lattjo Story Cards”, a game that is designed to encourage both children and adults to invent creative & original stories.

The project, developed for IKEA by DreamWorks, features 20 wordless story cards with a variety of characters and settings.

Shawn adds:

“My role was to create a total of 27 detailed digital paintings in a traditional textured ‘acrylic’ style, based on pencil drawings supplied by Denise. I’m very happy with the outcome.”

Powerhouse Animation was approached by Counterplay Games to create a cinematic trailer for their turn-based strategy game, Duelyst. The trailer features impressive imagery of two faction generals facing off in the arena.
