Jude Buffum produced opener, spot and icon illustrations for an article about Uber’s move into public transit.
Jude Buffum created an opener illustration for an article in Sobefit magazine about a professional football player’s physical rehabilitation, and the team of specialists behind his amazing comeback.
For its July 2016 issue, Scientific American commissioned Jude Buffum to illustrate its cover story about how video games can enhance mental skills.
Jude drew from his experience of spending hours playing Ms. Pac-Man and saw a direct correlation between the game and the many interconnected lobes of the brain.
SA loved the initial illustration so much that they decided to use it on the interior spread for the cover story, along with illustrations of some of the skills (driving, performing surgery, object rotation in space) that can be learned and improved through playing video games.
This is one of five spots created by Jude Buffum for the 9Lives “Live Well & Prospurr” campaign in which Morris the Cat gives advice to humans on how to be more like cats. Live footage of Morris dispensing advice was interspersed with animated illustrations which Jude created and Tom Yaniv animated. In the “Whirlwinded” spot, Morris recommends that us humans take some “me” time before the rat race overwhelms us.
