The SOWA holiday market is worth going to if you are in Boston, great vendors, and it was packed! I recommend getting there early. I imagine they will have it in 2012, as this one was the 8th annual.
I loved this display! These adorable plushies are made by Zugoo
These figures by Vintage by Crystal blew me away, so cool! Super Whimsical.
My friend bought a blue star figure.
There were foxes everywhere, 2011, year of the fox!
I was so lucky and excited, I got to meet Mimi Kirchner! I have been admiring her work for years, I love her blog Doll… I was great to see her work in person. I bought a postcard and a set of magnets. Hopefully soon I will buy a doll! She was adorable and sweet, just like I imagined she would be :-)
Kitties, bearded tattooed men, foxes, tattooed ladies….YEAY!!!
Her work is so perfect… just look at the detail!
Vintage cotton on her kitty’s skirt, but of course!
I also ran into the nonesense institute, whose work I had just been admiring on etsy!
They are even cuter live.
Little heros capes were very cool as well.
Fun for kids with an imagination who can be there own made up superhero!
After SOWA, we went over to Newbury Street. It was my first time, and I saw what I believe was my Mom’s fashion school in the 1960’s!
Right next door is an amazingly cool store, All Saints. I feel in love withe the window, this is just a part, they must have had 200 vintage singers in the giant front windows! Beautiful!!!!
Then as we drove home, we got trapped in the Santa Speedo Undie Run! Yikes!
